Over the years

The El Segundo Eagles 2022 season was a huge success!  We played 85 games (65-17) and earned our way to the 12U Western National Championships. The team dedicated their performance at Nationals to Coach Steve’s sister who was killed in 2020.  

Post Nationals, we jumped into 14U and enjoyed the challenge of playing the older girls. The Eagles were tested time and time again and they just kept on going forward all year! It was fun to watch. Enjoy some of the highlights!

El Segundo 14U All Star Eagles were the most successful girls softball team in organization's 50-year history, despite losing to Bonita Valley during the Western States National Championship game on August 6, 2017. The journey towards accomplishment was memorable filled with personal growth for these 14 young women who learned the essence of playing team sport – having fun with friends, selflessness, grit, confidence, and respect for the game, teammates, and opponents. Without the pressure of over-coaching, the players learned to rely on their true competitive spirit to guide them towards success. The road had its share of defeats and setbacks, but with hard work and respect for each other on and off the field, they turned into the winning team they are today!
